Operator and scope
These terms govern the OryxQuant website and, when customer commerce is enabled, its account, subscription, billing, and licence services. The service and software licence are operated by Alex Lama, Entrepreneur individuel (EI), at 5 RUE DU DOCTEUR CHARCOT, 92500 RUEIL-MALMAISON, FRANCE. Contact contact@oryxquant.com.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information, verify your email address, keep credentials and licence keys confidential, and promptly report unauthorized use. One person or organization may not impersonate another or register an address they do not control. We may suspend abusive, fraudulent, insecure, or unlawful use.
Plans, prices, and payment
The checkout page shows the plan, billing period, currency, total price, renewal timing, and applicable tax treatment before payment. Stripe processes payment. Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected monthly or annual period until cancelled. Price or tax changes apply prospectively with any notice required by law.
Changes, cancellation, and refunds
Paid upgrades take effect only after Stripe confirms payment. Downgrades and annual-to-monthly changes normally take effect after the already-paid period. You may cancel renewal through the account or Stripe portal. Cash refunds are not generated automatically, but this does not exclude mandatory withdrawal, cancellation, refund, or consumer rights. Contact support for a legally required refund, billing error, or exceptional request; approved refunds are processed through Stripe.
Software licence and availability
Software use is also governed by the Software Licence. A paid licence is issued only after confirmed payment and ends when the subscription, licence, or account ends. Store availability, supported Windows versions, third-party services, and features may change. We may interrupt access for maintenance, security, provider, or legal reasons.
Permitted use
You may browse and use available services for lawful internal research. You may not attack, overload, scrape, bypass access or licence controls, resell access, reproduce protected assets without permission, or use OryxQuant to violate another party's rights.
Third-party LLM services
When you enable AI Research, you instruct the locally running OryxQuant application to send research objectives, settings, candidate information, and strategy code directly to the LLM provider you selected. That provider is an independent third-party service governed by its own terms and data practices. You must maintain an authorized provider account, comply with provider and model-specific rules and charges, and have the right to submit every input. Do not submit personal, confidential, sensitive, regulated, or third-party proprietary information. Provider-side session storage is optional, but OryxQuant does not guarantee an LLM provider's confidentiality, availability, output, training practices, or retention period.
Research and financial risk
OryxQuant is research software, not investment advice, brokerage, portfolio management, or a guarantee of performance. Backtests and generated strategies can be incomplete, incorrect, or misleading. You are responsible for independent review and every trading decision.
Data providers
You supply and remain responsible for eligible market-data credentials and rights. OryxQuant does not grant, resell, or extend a provider licence. Cached data must be removed when required by the provider plan or after the provider entitlement ends.
Changes and termination
Terms may be updated prospectively with a revised version and renewed acceptance where required. You may close the account after resolving any required billing action. We may terminate for material breach, fraud, security risk, or legal necessity while preserving mandatory rights and records.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, OryxQuant is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, research accuracy, fitness for a trading objective, or investment outcome. Nothing excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
