Parties
This End-User Licence Agreement is between you and Alex Lama, Entrepreneur individuel (EI), at 5 RUE DU DOCTEUR CHARCOT, 92500 RUEIL-MALMAISON, FRANCE, acting as the publisher and licensor of the OryxQuant software.
Licence grant
Subject to an active OryxQuant subscription and these terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the standalone Windows software for internal strategy research. Core and Pro each permit one activated computer unless your account states otherwise. Each installation permits one active local browser page.
Restrictions
You may not distribute the software or licence key, circumvent activation or browser-session controls, expose the local backend to remote users, provide the software as a hosted service, remove ownership notices, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits that activity.
Third-party services
The software can connect directly to market-data and LLM providers selected and configured by you. These services are independently provided, require your own credentials and eligible entitlements, and are governed by separate provider terms, licences, quotas, charges, and data practices. You are responsible for confirming that your use, local caching, business context, and intended audience are permitted. OryxQuant may block an integration or delete an expired provider cache when required by the configured entitlement.
Content submitted through AI Research is transmitted to the selected LLM provider for processing and may be retained there. Provider-side session storage is optional, but OryxQuant does not guarantee zero retention or the confidentiality, availability, or output of a third-party LLM service. You may not share or resell another person's credentials or provider access. You must have all rights needed for submitted inputs and must not submit personal, confidential, sensitive, regulated, or third-party proprietary information.

Copyright in the OryxQuant software and documentation is jointly owned by Joseph Lama and Alex Lama. OryxQuant® is a registered trademark of Alex Lama. Except for the rights expressly granted under this agreement, no rights in the software or documentation are transferred to you. As between you and OryxQuant, you retain ownership of strategy code and research data you create, subject to any rights or restrictions in the selected LLM provider's terms.
Updates and termination
Updates may replace earlier versions and may require a supported licence. The licence ends when the subscription or licence expires, is revoked for breach, or the account is closed. On termination, stop using and remove the software.
Open-source components
Included third-party components remain subject to their respective licences. Those licences control where they grant rights beyond this agreement.
Trading disclaimer
The software is a research tool and does not execute a fiduciary duty or provide investment advice. You must validate generated code, data, assumptions, and results before relying on them.
